An old fellow from Marseille (original owner!) added his 404 to the Registry:

4525161; a Sedan from October 1962, Black 1000 with red interior, sunroof and Nardi floor shifter, excellent condition.

Total: 1061 !

This evening I saw a newly submitted car in the Registry website:

7222338, Estate car with Carburator engine, from 5 July 1971, located in STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

Today I received the information about two other cars:

5066219, a white sedan that - sadly - was scrapped in 2009 to supply parts for another car that survives in Australia, and

5584496, a Valley Green 12591 Sedan (Australian colour), a 1971 model, that car was made in Australia

This place is not so far from where we live , it is close to the French-Belgian border, near Lille, département "Nord" (59)
In the Dutch province "Zeeland" we always welcome several guests from that area during the old-timer meetings and rally's.
Maybe I will meet this black 404 next summer.

trough this forum I acquired 2 weeks ago the 404 that you can see under the topic :

It is a 1964 Berline Super Luxe in a very nice colour ,
with leather upholstery, sun roof and LPG equipped.

Condition is reasonable ( some rust ) , but it runs

The serial number is : 5041773

I think this one is not in you regisetry yet ?

By the way : are you living far away from Chiliwack ? My wife has some (long not seen ) relatives there

Chilliwack is about 120 km east of Vancouver (the city) and I live on Vancouver Island, which is a 1,6 h ferry ride, west from Vancouver. But I have driven past Chilliwack often (hundreds of times probably!) and we usually stop there to fill the fuel tank before heading further east, because they always have lower fuel prices! Most recently, I was there in late February 2011.
